SERVES 4 PEOPLE

INGREDIENTS:
Ingredients 1 Jar of Casconeýs Garden Style Sauce or Cascone's Marinara Sauce Extra-virgin olive oil Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons garlic powder 1 tablespoon dried oregano 1 (3 1/2-pound) whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces 2 green peppers, sliced 1 pinch red pepper flakes 1/2 bunch fresh basil, hand-torn (1/4 bunch to flavor the base, 1/4 bunch to finish the dish) 1 cup table white wine

STEPS:
Start by preparing your flour. Add kosher salt, black pepper and garlic powder. Dredge the chicken pieces in the seasoned flour. Place your breaded chicken in a large skillet or Dutch oven, cover with ý in of olive oil. Sautee, your chicken pieces skin side down for about 7 minutes. Drain and clean your pot. Add your chicken, sliced peppers, white wine, oregano, red pepper flakes and a jar of Cascone's Garden Style Pasta Sauce. Add chicken stock or water in your sauce looks to thick. Cover and bake for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until your chicken is cooked. Top with fresh basil and serve. You can serve this dish over polenta, rice or pasta
